- Students, lecturers, and researchers of all study/research fields and foreigners of Lithuanian origin approved for Lithuanian language and culture courses will receive a scholarship (only contact course participants). Those who choose the onsite course at Klaipeda University will receive the scholarship upon arrival. The money will be paid into participant‘s account for Euros. However, we do not take any responsibility for your flight cancelation, visa denials and etc. Mind all the risks (especially during the pandemic).
- The tuition fee for Lithuanian language and culture courses will be covered by the Republic of Lithuania and directly transferred to the higher education institution.
- Any other fees, such as a student union fee, a library membership fee, etc., shall be paid by the scholarship holder. However, such fees normally are not applicable for 1-month language courses.
- Travel and accommodation costs shall be covered by the scholarship holder.
- A scholarship is intended to cover the scholarship holder’s expenses only. An additional amount for accompanying partners or family is not provided. Lithuanian state scholarships cannot be double funded from other sources, e.g., other scholarships or other academic exchange programmes.
- If for some force majeure the Foundation student must cancel the onsite course, she or he is welcome to participate in the live online course. Please, in such case inform kristina.blockyte-naujoke@ku.lt before ASAP.
