Funded by the Bilateral Cooperation Fund under the European Economic Area and Norwegian Financial Mechanisms 2014–2021, this project provided more than 1,600 Ukrainians with the opportunity to learn the Lithuanian language and explore Lithuania’s culture, history, traditions, and principles of equal opportunities.

The aim of this project is to strengthen the Lithuanian Language and Culture Centre at the Georgian Technical University, ensure the continuity of Lithuanian language learning, provide students with opportunities to gain deeper knowledge of Lithuanian culture, history, and traditions, and promote academic exchange and mutual understanding between Lithuania and Georgia.
The project has been implemented annually since 2023, based on agreements signed between the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania and Klaipėda University.
Project: “Organisation of Intensive Lithuanian Language and Culture Summer and Winter Courses for Foreigners and Lithuanian Diaspora, as well as Intensive Study Programmes in Lithuanian Studies for Individuals Engaged in Lithuanian Education Abroad”

The Education Exchanges Support Foundation administers a programme inviting Lithuanian higher education and research institutions to organise intensive Lithuanian language and culture summer and/or winter courses for foreigners and members of the Lithuanian diaspora, as well as courses based on Lithuanian studies programmes designed for individuals involved in Lithuanian education abroad.
The Centre for Lithuanian Studies and Foreign Languages participates in this project by organising intensive Lithuanian language and culture courses during scheduled sessions. Its activities include not only language instruction but also cultural events, educational excursions, and lectures on Lithuanian history, traditions, and contemporary society. These initiatives provide foreigners and members of the Lithuanian diaspora with opportunities to deepen their language skills and gain a better understanding of Lithuania’s cultural context.
