Center for Lithuanian Studies and Foreign Languages – a division of Klaipėda University that provides professional language teaching and testing services to Lithuanian and international students, lecturers, researchers, and the general public.

Language Testing and Proficiency Assessment

• Offers Lithuanian language proficiency level tests (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1) based on international and national standards, allowing candidates to assess their language proficiency level.
  Note: The examination certificates are not equivalent to the State Language Proficiency Category Certificates.
• Develops diagnostic, progress, and final tests to evaluate learning progress.
• Organizes Lithuanian language entrance exams for individuals who have obtained their education abroad and intend to study at Klaipėda University.
• Provides testing services for assessing proficiency in other foreign languages according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
• Offers certification services – issues official certificates confirming assessed language proficiency levels.

Language Teaching

• Organizes Lithuanian language courses for foreigners (students, researchers, lecturers, and local residents).
• Conducts courses in various foreign languages for the university community, city and regional residents, institutions, and companies.
• Prepares non-native speakers for the State Lithuanian Language Examinations.
